Mukhtasar Bukhari

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Who among you is there who loves the wealth of his heir more than his own wealth?" All of them replied, "O Messenger of Allah! All of us love our own wealth more." So he (peace be upon him) said: "Your own wealth is only that which you spend (in the way of Allah) and send forward during your life, and whatever you leave behind after death, that belongs to your heirs."
