Hadith 2070
Narrated from Sayyiduna Shaddad bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The most superior way of seeking forgiveness is (translation): 'O Allah! You are my Lord, there is no true deity except You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I am upon Your covenant and promise as much as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favor upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for surely none forgives sins except You.'"
And he said: "Whoever recites this supplication for forgiveness during the day with firm belief in it, and dies before evening, he will enter Paradise. And whoever recites it at night with complete certainty and dies before morning, he will also enter Paradise."
