Hadith 2063
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): My father had some debt, so I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) regarding it (to inquire about something) and knocked at the door. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said from inside: "Who is it?" I said, "It is me." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "'It is me, it is me' (i.e., why don't you mention your name?)" It was as if the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) disliked saying "It is me."
