‘Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) said’ (When I was a child) the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would take hold of me and seat me on one thigh and Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) on the other thigh. Then he would embrace both of us and supplicate: “O Allah! Have mercy and kindness upon them, for I also show mercy to them.”
