Sayyiduna Amr bin Al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say aloud, "The children of such-and-such a person are not among my friends, and my friend is Allah and the righteous believers. But there is kinship with them. If they maintain it, I will maintain it; if they uphold the ties, I will uphold the ties."
