Hadith 1971
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had permitted the family of an Ansari to perform ruqyah (spiritual healing) for scorpion stings and ear pain. And due to pain in my ribs, I was cauterized during the lifetime of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and Abu Talha, Anas bin Nadr, and Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with them) were present, and Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) performed the cauterization.
