Hadith 1968
Narrated Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The previous nations were presented before me. The prophets passed by, some with one man, some with two men, some with a small group from their nation, and there was a prophet with whom there was not even a single follower. Then a large group was shown to me, and I asked: 'Whose nation is this? Is this my nation?' I was told: 'This is Musa (Moses) and his nation.' Then I was told: 'Look at the sky.' (So I looked and saw) a huge group had covered the horizon. Then I was told: 'Look at the other side of the sky.' I saw that indeed a very large group was covering the horizon. Then I was told: 'This is your nation, and among them seventy thousand will enter Paradise without reckoning or punishment.' After saying this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went into (his chamber) and did not clarify to the people who those (seventy thousand) would be. (Upon this) the people began to discuss. They said: 'We believed in Allah and obeyed His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so we are those people, or it will be our children who were born in the era of Islam, because we were born in the era of ignorance.' This news reached the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came out and said: 'They are those who do not seek ruqyah (spiritual healing), nor do they believe in bad omens, nor do they cauterize (themselves for treatment), but they put their trust only in their Lord.' Ukasha bin Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up and said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Am I among them?' He said: 'Yes, you are among them.' Another man stood up and began to say: 'Am I also among them?' The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Ukasha has preceded you.'"
