Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Indeed, this black seed (black cumin) is a cure for every disease except as-sam." I asked, "What is as-sam?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Death."
