Hadith 1897
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that he passed by a people who had a roasted goat with them. They invited Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) to eat, but he refused to eat and said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) departed from this world, but never did he eat his fill of barley bread.

Hadith 1898
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once distributed dates among his companions, giving each person seven dates. He also gave me seven dates. Among them, one was spoiled (hard), but none of the dates was more beloved to me than that one, because it lasted longer while I was chewing it.

Hadith 1899
Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the family of Muhammad (peace be upon him), since their arrival in Madinah, never ate their fill of wheat bread for three consecutive days until the Prophet (peace be upon him) passed away.
