Hadith 1809
Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me quietly (in a low voice): "Jibreel (peace be upon him) used to review the Qur'an with me once every year, and this year he reviewed it twice. I think that the time of my death has approached."

Hadith 1811
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was in (the Syrian city of) Homs. There he recited Surah Yusuf, so a person said, "This Surah was not revealed in the way you have recited it." Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I recited this Surah before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: 'You have recited very well.'" And (Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him) perceived the smell of wine from his mouth, so he said: "On one hand, you deny the Book of Allah, and on the other, you enjoy the pleasures of wine?" Then he imposed the prescribed punishment on him.
