Hadith 1793
Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to drink honey in the house of Umm al-Mu'mineen Zainab bint Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with her), and (because of this) he would stay there for a long time. So I and Umm al-Mu'mineen Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) agreed among ourselves that whichever of us the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to, she would say, "Have you eaten Maghafir? I smell its odor from your mouth." (So when the Prophet [peace and blessings be upon him] came, we did as agreed.) The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "No, I drank honey at the house of Zainab (may Allah be pleased with her), and now I swear that I will never drink honey again. Do not tell anyone about this."
