Mukhtasar Bukhari

Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Last night two angels came to me, they woke me from sleep and took me to a city built of bricks of gold and silver. There I met some people whose half of the body was so beautiful that you would never have seen anything like it, and the other half was so ugly that you would never have seen anything like it. Both (angels) told those people to enter that river, so they entered it and then came back to us; their ugliness was gone and they became very handsome in appearance. Both angels said to me that this is Jannat al-‘Adn (the Garden of Eternity) and this is your place, and those people whose bodies were half beautiful and half ugly, they were those who had mixed good deeds with bad deeds, Allah forgave them and pardoned them (so they became beautiful in body)."
