Mukhtasar Bukhari

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the People of the Book, that is, the Jews, used to recite the Torah in the Hebrew language and would translate it into Arabic for the Muslims. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not completely believe what they say (because they have altered the Torah), nor completely deny it (because perhaps some verses remain unaltered). Rather, say in general: 'Say: We believe in Allah and in what has been revealed to us.'"
