Hadith 1656
´Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that` the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) married Umm al-Mu’minin Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) while he was in the state of Ihram, and after coming out of Ihram, he consummated the marriage with her. Umm al-Mu’minin Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) passed away at Sarif itself (where the marriage had taken place). (Benefit: Umm al-Mu’minin Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), while narrating the story of her own marriage, states that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was not in the state of Ihram at that time. (Sahih Muslim) Perhaps Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) received the news later.)
