Hadith 1643
Narrated Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him): I set out (from Madinah towards Ghabah) before the morning Adhan. The milch camels of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were grazing at Dhi Qarad. On the way, I met the slave of Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him), and he informed me that the camels of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had been seized... and he mentioned a long hadith which has already been mentioned before (see the Book: On Jihad and Military Expeditions... Chapter: Whoever, upon seeing the enemy, called out loudly that...). And at the end of this hadith, Sayyiduna Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Then we all returned, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made me ride on his camel until we reached Madinah.
