Hadith 1591
Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) married me, I was six years old. Then we came to Medina and settled in the neighborhood of Banu Harith bin Khazraj. I had a fever and all my hair fell out (later, it grew back to my shoulders). My mother, Umm Ruman, came to me while I was playing on a swing with my friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do. She took my hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was out of breath, and when my breathing settled, she wiped my face and head with water, then took me inside the house. There were some women of the Ansar sitting there. They said, “Congratulations, congratulations, your fortune is great.” Then (my mother) entrusted me to them, and they adorned me. I became anxious when, suddenly, at the time of forenoon, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived. (The women) handed me over to him, and at that time I was nine years old.

Hadith 1592
Narrated from Ummul Momineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said to her: "I saw you twice in a dream, that you were wrapped in a piece of silk, and it was said to me (by someone), 'This is your wife.' When I uncovered it, it was you inside. I said (in my heart), 'If this is from Allah, then Allah will surely fulfill it.'"
