Mukhtasar Bukhari

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that he used to walk with the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, carrying a water skin for his ablution and istinja (cleaning after relieving oneself).... This hadith has already been mentioned (Book: Description of Ablution... Chapter: Performing Istinja with Stones).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with them) that he was asked: Who informed the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that the jinn had listened to his recitation of the Qur'an at night? He replied: Indeed, a (acacia) tree informed the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about them.

And in this narration (Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him) adds that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The messengers of the jinn of Nasibin came to me, and how excellent those jinn were. They asked me for provisions for the journey, so I prayed to Allah for them that whenever they pass by a bone or dung, they will find food on it."
