Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated Sayyiduna Talha bin Ubaidullah (may Allah be pleased with him): In some of the battles fought by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), no one remained with the Prophet (peace be upon him) except Sayyiduna Talha and Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with them).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Talha bin Ubaidullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the hand with which he protected the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) became completely paralyzed (due to being struck by an arrow).
