Hadith 1529
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I saw (in a dream) that I entered Paradise, and behold, there was Abu Talha's wife, Rumaisa (Umm Sulaym, the mother of Anas), present there. And I heard the sound of footsteps, so I asked, 'Who is it?' Someone said, 'It is Bilal.' And I saw a palace, and on one side of it a girl was performing ablution. I asked, 'Whose palace is this?' Someone said, 'It is Umar bin Khattab's (may Allah be pleased with him).' I wanted to enter that palace and see it, but (O Umar!) I remembered your sense of honor." Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O Messenger of Allah! May my parents be sacrificed for you, would I feel any sense of honor before you?"

Hadith 1530
Narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the Hour and said, "When will the Hour come?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "What have you prepared for it?" He said, "Nothing, except that I love Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You will be with those whom you love (on the Day of Resurrection)." Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that upon hearing this, we were so happy that we had never been so happy about anything before. Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says, "I love the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), and I hope that because of this love I will be with them, even though I have not done deeds like their (righteous) deeds."

Hadith 1531
Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Among the children of Israel before you, there were people who used to be spoken to by the angels (they were inspired), although they were not prophets. And if there is anyone among my Ummah like them, it would be Umar (may Allah be pleased with him)."
