Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "You will find people like mines (of gold and silver). Those who were considered good and noble in the pre-Islamic period of ignorance are also good and noble in Islam, provided they acquire understanding of the religion. And you will find that the most suitable for leadership is the one who dislikes it the most. And the worst among people is the double-faced one, who comes to some people with one face and to others with another face."

Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Muslims follow the Quraysh in leadership and caliphate, just as (the Arabs) in the time of disbelief also followed the Quraysh, and the condition of people is like that of mines. Those who were good and noble in the time of ignorance are also good and noble in the time of Islam, provided they acquire knowledge of the religion. You will find the best person to be the one who dislikes authority and leadership the most, until he is caught up in it."
