Ameer-ul-Mu'mineen Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "The best woman of the world was Maryam (Mary), the daughter of Imran, and (in her time) the best woman of the world was (Ummul Mu'mineen) Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her)."

Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "The women of Quraysh are the best among the women who ride camels; they are most kind to their children and most careful with their husbands' wealth."
