If a fly falls in someone’s food or drink, immerse it, for one wing has disease and the other cure.

Hadith 1397
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a fly falls into the drink of any one of you, he should dip it in, then take it out, for on one of its wings is disease and on the other is cure."
Hadith 1398
Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: "Allah forgave a sinful woman only because she saw a dog panting at the mouth of a well, about to die of thirst. So she took off her shoe, tied it with her scarf, drew water from the well for the dog, and gave it to drink. Allah, in return for this good deed, saved her from Hell."
