Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent an army towards Najd in which Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) was also present. They found many camels as war booty, so each of them received twelve or eleven camels as their share, and one camel was given to them in addition to their share.

Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): While the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was distributing the war booty at (the place of) Ji‘ranah, a man said to him, "Be just." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then I would be wretched if I do not act justly (if I do not do justice, then who will)?"

Narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him, his father) found two slave girls among the captives of Hunain and kept them in a house in Makkah. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered the captives of Hunain to be set free, so people started running in the streets. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said to his son, "O Abdullah! See what this is?" He said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has set the captives of Hunain free (this is the reason)." Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Go, you also set those two slave girls free." (These slave girls had come to him from the spoils of war.)
