Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated Sa‘b bin Jaththamah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by me at the place of Abwa’ or Waddan, and he was asked about the polytheists of Dar al-Harb, whether night raids could be carried out against them, and their women and children might also be killed. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "They are from among them." (If they are killed, there is no harm.) And I also heard him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Pasture lands are not permissible for anyone except Allah and His Messenger."
