Hadith 1280
Lady Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I prepared food for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in the house of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) when he intended to migrate to Madinah. She says: I could not find anything with which I could tie the food and the water container for him, so I said to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him): By Allah! I do not find anything except my waistband with which I can tie them. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Divide your waistband into two parts, tie the water container with one and the food with the other. So I did so, and for this reason I was named "the possessor of two waistbands" (Dhat an-Nitaqain).
