Hadith 1237
Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) says that there was a horse of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kept in our garden; its name was Laheef, and some say its name was Lakheef.

‘Sayyiduna Mu’adh (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I was riding behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on a donkey, whose name was ‘Ufair. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “O Mu’adh! Do you know what Allah’s right is upon His servants?” ... and the entire hadith was narrated which has already passed. Hadith 1239
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says that (once) there was some fear in Madinah, so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mounted our horse whose name was Mandub. He (peace be upon him) went out. When he returned, he said: "We did not see anything to be afraid of, and indeed we found this horse to be swift like a river."
