Narrated from Sayyiduna Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever equips a warrior in the way of Allah, it is as if he himself has fought, and whoever looks after the family of a warrior in the way of Allah in his absence, it is as if he himself has fought."

Hadith 1231
Narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) in Madinah would not visit anyone’s house except that of Umm Sulaym and his noble wives. So someone asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) the reason for this, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: “I feel compassion for her; her brother was martyred along with me.”
