Hadith 1141
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever frees his share in a slave, and he has enough wealth to cover the full price of the slave, then the price of the slave should be assessed by a just person, and the partners in the slave should be given their shares of the price, and the slave should be set completely free on his behalf. But if he does not have enough wealth, then the slave will be free to the extent that he has been freed."
