Hadith 1063
Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): (Once) the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: "If the wealth of Bahrain comes, I will give you so much (money)." But before the wealth of Bahrain could arrive, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away. Then, when the wealth of Bahrain arrived, the Commander of the Faithful, Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him), made an announcement that whoever the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had promised something or whoever had any debt upon him should come to him. So I went to him and said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said this to me. So the Commander of the Faithful, Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him), gave me a handful of dirhams. I counted them and they were five hundred. Then As-Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Take twice as much."
