Hadith 1014
Narrated Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): When (my father) Abdullah bin Amr bin Haram (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred, he had some debt. So I requested the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to intercede so that some of the debt might be forgiven. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) expressed this wish to those people, but they did not agree. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: "Go and separate your dates into different heaps. Keep the Ajwa dates separate and the 'Adhq Zaid separate, then call me." So I did that, and after that I called the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He came and sat on or among the dates. Then he said: "Now measure out and give to the creditors." So I started measuring and giving to them until I had paid off all the debt, and my dates remained as they were, as if nothing had been diminished from them.
