Hadith 1001
Narrated Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): A tailor invited the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to a meal which he had prepared for him, so I also went with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to that meal. Bread and broth containing green gourd (long bottle gourd) and dried meat were placed before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) searching for pieces of gourd in the bowl from here and there, so from that day I began to like gourd.
