Hadith 973
Narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that some of the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were shown in their dreams that Laylat al-Qadr is in the last seven nights of Ramadan. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I see that your dreams have agreed upon the last seven nights, so whoever is seeking Laylat al-Qadr should search for it in the last seven nights."

Hadith 974
Narrated Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him): We observed I'tikaf with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) during the middle ten days of Ramadan. Then, on the morning of the twentieth day, he came out and addressed us, saying: "I was shown Laylat al-Qadr in a dream, but I forgot it," or he said, "it was made to be forgotten. So now seek it in the odd nights of the last ten nights. And I saw (in the dream) as if I was prostrating in mud, so whoever has observed I'tikaf with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) should observe I'tikaf again (in these last ten nights)." So we all observed I'tikaf, and at that time we did not see any sign of clouds in the sky. Suddenly, a cloud came and it rained until the roof of the mosque, which was made of palm branches, started leaking. Then the prayer was established, and I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prostrating in the mud, so much so that I saw the mark of mud on his forehead even after the prayer.
