Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever does not give up false speech and deceitful actions, Allah has no need for him to leave his food and drink (by merely naming it as fasting)."
