Hadith 902
´Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that` the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Medina is a sanctuary from here (Mount ‘Ir) to there (Thawr); its trees should not be cut, nor should any oppression or innovation be committed here. Whoever invents any act of oppression or innovation here, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people (and in one narration: whoever gives shelter to an innovator, upon him as well)."

Hadith 904
Narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: We have nothing except the Book of Allah and this scroll which has been transmitted from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). (It also contains this subject): "From the mountain of 'Ayr in Madinah to such-and-such place (Thawr) is a sanctuary (Haram). Whoever introduces an innovation (bid'ah) here, acts upon it, or gives refuge to an innovator, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. Neither any voluntary worship nor any obligatory worship will be accepted from him." And he said: "The covenant of any one Muslim is sufficient among you; then whoever breaks the covenant of any Muslim, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. Neither any voluntary worship nor any obligatory worship will be accepted from him. And whoever (a slave) leaves his master and, without his permission, takes another as master, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. Neither any voluntary worship nor any obligatory worship will be accepted from him."
