Mukhtasar Bukhari

`Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to say that` the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had his head shaved during his Hajj.

Narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Allah! Have mercy on those who shave their heads." The companions submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! (Pray for mercy) for those who trim their hair as well." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Allah! Send mercy upon those who shave their heads." The companions again submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! (Pray for mercy) for those who trim their hair as well." So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, the third time) said: "And (have mercy) on those who trim their hair as well."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O Allah! Forgive those who shave their heads." The companions said: "And those who trim their hair as well." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, repeated: "O Allah! Forgive those who shave their heads." The companions said: "And those who trim their hair as well." Then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said for the third time: "And forgive those who trim their hair as well."

`Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that` I trimmed the hair of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with scissors.
