Hadith 800
Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the Hatim wall, whether it is also part of the Ka’bah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: “Yes.” I asked: Then why did those people not include it within the Ka’bah? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Your people had insufficient funds (that is why they did not include it).” I asked: What is the matter with the door? Why is it so high? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Your people did this so that they could allow into the Ka’bah whomever they wished and prevent whomever they wished. And if your people were not so close to the time of ignorance, and if I did not fear that their hearts would dislike it, I would certainly have included the Hatim within the Ka’bah and lowered its door to the ground (that is, made the threshold lower).”

Hadith 801
Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), if your people had not recently left the Age of Ignorance, I would have ordered the Ka'bah to be demolished, and I would have included in it the part that was left out, and I would have joined it with the ground, and I would have made two doors for it—one eastern door and one western door—and I would have made it according to the foundations of Ibrahim (peace be upon him)."
