Hadith 736
´Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that´ Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote for them the obligations of charity (zakat) which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had commanded (and in it was this content): That for the person who, in zakat of camels (for 61 to 75), is required to give a four-year-old she-camel, and he does not have it, but he has a three-year-old she-camel, then that should be taken from him, and along with it, if he can provide two goats or twenty dirhams, that should be taken from him. And for the person who, in zakat (for 46 to 60 camels), is required to give a three-year-old she-camel, and he does not have it, but he has a four-year-old she-camel, then that should be taken from him, and the zakat collector should give him twenty dirhams or two goats. And for the person who is required to give a three-year-old she-camel in zakat, and he does not have it, but he has a two-year-old she-camel, then that should be taken from him, and he should also give twenty dirhams or two goats along with it. And for the person who, in zakat (for 36 to 45 camels), is required to give a two-year-old she-camel, and he has a three-year-old she-camel, then that should be accepted from him, and he should be given back two goats or twenty dirhams. And for the person who is required to give a two-year-old she-camel in zakat, and he does not have it, but he has a one-year-old she-camel, then that should be taken from him, and he (the zakat giver) should also give twenty dirhams or two goats along with it.
