Hadith 676
Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to put two men from among the martyrs of Uhud in a single garment, then he would ask, "Which of them knew more of the Qur'an?" When one of them was pointed out, he would put him first in the grave and say: "I will be a witness for these people on the Day of Resurrection." And he (peace be upon him) ordered that they be buried with their blood, and they were neither washed nor was funeral prayer offered for them.

Hadith 677
Narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out of Madinah one day and offered prayer over the martyrs of Uhud as he would offer prayer over the deceased. Then he returned and stood on the pulpit and said: "I will precede you at the Pond (Al-Kawthar) on the Day of Resurrection and will be a witness for you. And by Allah! Indeed, at this moment I am looking at my Pond, and the keys of the treasures of the earth, or (he said:) the keys of the earth, have been given to me. By Allah! I do not fear that you will become polytheists after me, but I fear that you will compete with one another for the world."
