Mukhtasar Bukhari

It was asked from Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her): "How was the prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) at night?" She said: "He (peace be upon him) would sleep at the beginning of the night and would get up in the last part of the night and pray. After the prayer, he would return to his bed, then when the muezzin gave the call to prayer, he (peace be upon him) would get up; if he needed to, he would take a bath, otherwise he would perform ablution and go out."
