Hadith 590
Narrated Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would get up at night to offer Tahajjud prayer, he would say: "O Allah! All praise is for You; You are the Disposer of the affairs of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and all praise is for You; You are the Light of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and all praise is for You; You are the King of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and all praise is for You; You are True, and Your promise is true, and meeting You is true, and Your word is true, and Paradise and Hell are true, and all the Prophets are true, and Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is true, and the Hour is true. O Allah! I am obedient to You, and I have believed in You, and I have put my trust in You, and I turn to You, and with Your help I argue with the opponents, and I appoint You as a judge. So forgive my past and future sins, my hidden and open sins; You are the One Who brings forward and Who delays; there is no deity except You." Or he said: "There is no true deity except You."
