Hadith 565
´Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated´ the long hadith about the eclipse, then said that the people submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! (At that time) we saw you standing in your place, reaching out your hand as if to take something, then we saw you step back." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I saw Paradise, and I reached out towards a bunch of grapes. If I had taken it, you would have eaten from it as long as the world remained. And (after that) Hell was shown to me, and I have never seen a more terrifying sight than today, and I saw that most of the inhabitants of Hell were women." The people asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Why is that?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Because of their ingratitude." It was asked, "Do they disbelieve in Allah?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "They are ungrateful to their husbands and do not acknowledge favors. If you do good to one of them for a lifetime, then she sees something (displeasing) from you, she will say (without hesitation), 'I have never seen any good from you.'"
