Narrated Abdullah bin Amr (bin Al-As) (may Allah be pleased with him): During the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), when a solar eclipse occurred, it was announced with the words "As-Salatu Jami'ah" (i.e., gather for the prayer).
