Hadith 541
Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the Witr prayer in every part of the night: sometimes at the beginning of the night, sometimes in the middle, and sometimes at the end of the night. And in the end, the Witr of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would be close to the time of dawn.
