Hadith 515
Sayyiduna Amr bin Taghlib (may Allah be pleased with him) says that some wealth or something was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so he (peace be upon him) distributed it. He gave to some people and did not give to others. Then news reached him (peace be upon him) that those whom he had not given were displeased. So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) praised and glorified Allah, then said: "To proceed! By Allah, I give to some and leave others, even though the one whom I leave is more beloved to me than the one to whom I give. But I give to some people because I see restlessness and anxiety in their hearts. (And those whom I do not give), I entrust them to the contentment and goodness that Allah has placed in their hearts. Among such people is Amr bin Taghlib (may Allah be pleased with him)." (Amr bin Taghlib [may Allah be pleased with him] says:) By Allah! I do not wish to have even red camels in exchange for this statement of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

Hadith 517
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that (one day) the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ascended the pulpit, and it was the last gathering in which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sat. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a large cloak draped over his shoulders and had tied his blessed head with a dusty-colored band. Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O people! Come near to me." So the people gathered close to him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). After that, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "To proceed! This tribe of Ansar will keep decreasing, and other people will keep increasing. Therefore, whoever among the Ummah possesses anything and has the authority by which he can harm or benefit someone, he should accept the good deeds of the righteous among them (i.e., the Ansar) and overlook the mistakes of the wrongdoers among them."
