Hadith 503
`Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her)`, the respected wife of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), says that people used to come for the Friday prayer from their homes and from the surrounding villages of Madinah in turns. Due to dust, a lot of dust and sweat would accumulate on their bodies, and then sweat would also come out from their bodies, so there would be a bad smell. Then one of them came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) while he was with me, so the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "I wish you people would remain clean on this day (from dust and bad smell)."
