Hadith 420
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: When I stand for prayer, I intend to prolong it, but on hearing the crying of a child, I shorten my prayer, disliking that I might cause hardship to his mother.
