Hadith 386
‘Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that while we were praying with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he heard the voices of some people. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished the prayer, he said: “What is the matter with you? (i.e., why was there this commotion?)” They replied that they had hurried for the prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Do not do so. When you come for the prayer, come with calmness and tranquility. Then whatever part of the prayer you catch, perform it, and whatever you miss, complete it.”
