Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated by Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): When he (peace be upon him) fought with any people along with us, he would not allow us to plunder until morning came and he (peace be upon him) would wait. If he heard the call to prayer, he would refrain from (killing) those people, and if he did not hear the call to prayer, he would attack them.
