Mukhtasar Bukhari

´ Sayyiduna Abu Mas’ud Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) went to Mughira bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was in Iraq, and one day the prayer was delayed. He said, “O Mughira! What have you done? Do you not know that (one day) Jibreel (peace be upon him) came and he led the prayer, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) also prayed (at that time). Then (Jibreel) led the second prayer, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) also prayed. Then (Jibreel) led the third prayer, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) also prayed. Then (Jibreel) led the fourth prayer, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) also prayed. Then (Jibreel) led the fifth prayer, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) also prayed. Then Jibreel (peace be upon him) said, ‘I have been commanded to do so.’”
