Hadith 251
‘Aisha, the Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), says: I used to sleep in front of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and my feet would be in the place where he performed prostration. When he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would prostrate, he would press me, and I would draw in my feet. When he stood up, I would stretch them out again. Umm al-Mu’minin ‘Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: At that time, there were no lamps in the houses.
Hadith 252
Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray on his bedding at home, and she (i.e., Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her) would be lying on the bedding between him (peace be upon him) and the place of prostration, in the manner of a bier.
